Consider Yourself...

On Saturday, Bailey auditioned for Oliver! The Musical. The community playhouse is putting on this classic in July and Bailey wanted to give it a shot. In a 2+ hour audition process, she sang a prepared music piece she brought along, learned dance steps and performed a portion of "Consider Yourself," from the show. She has a blast!

On Sunday night, she received a "call back" for Monday night.....the night of her chorus concert. She announced this before auditioning Saturday - but apparently it wasn't understood. So we had to let the director know about this conflict again on the phone. She seemed to be unaware of this conflict and said for Bailey to arrive as soon as possible and they'd try to work her in. That didn't sound very good. Hopefully call backs will go well...and she won't be penalized for the previous committment she announced before auditioning.

Cross your fingers for her - she is REALLY excited and has really found herself in music/performance lately. It is so wonderful to see her blossom...to be confident in her abilities....to take risks and try new things....to be the wonderful person God created her to be.
